DATA ANALYSIS RESEARCH TOPIC

Satisfaction and Perceived Productivity when Employees Work from Home

Dated
SEPTEMBER 17, 2021
INTERPRETATIONS
1) Mean

Computed mean of all the variables in the data. We have computed means of three variables
which are as follows:
Variable 1 is Organizational Variables.
Computed mean of (OV1, OV2, OV3) =OV
Variable 2 is Individual Working Style.
Computed mean of (IWS1.IWS2, IWS3) = IWS
Variable 3 is Job Satisfaction & Performance.
Computed mean of (JSP1, JSP2, JSP3) = JSP
By applying this test, we get composite mean of all three variables which are computed
separately and shows aggregated value of the variables.

2) Reliability Test

Reliability Analysis (All Variables)

VARIABLES ALPHA VALUE

Variable 1 OV 0.064
Variable 2 IWS 0.610
Variable 3 JSP 0.458

Above mentioned values shows that the given set of variables in the data does not meet the
threshold which is that alpha value must be 0.70 or greater value then the results are reliable. In
this case, the alpha value reflects that the data set is not reliable. As if we again run this test or
any other the results may vary and not get the same as previous.
Reliability Analysis (Scale If Item Deleted)
Variable 1 OV If we deleted the OV3 we can get alpha value up-to 0.463 which is however is not
reliable but it is better than before value.
Variable 2 IWS If we deleted the IWS1 we can get alpha value 0.732 which is meeting the
criteria of reliable data.
Variable 3 JSP If we deleted the JSP4 we can get alpha value 0.518 which is however is not
reliable but it is better than before value.

3) Skewness and Kurtosis

Skewness and Kurtosis values meet their respective thresholds in which the values fall in the
following manner for both tests:
Skewness values in between -1 and +1
Kurtosis values in between -3 and +3
All the three variables i.e OV, IWS, JSP values lie in between the defined ranges. Our data set
variables meet the above-mentioned requirement no value fall apart from the ranges defined as a
result no variable is excluded for further analyze.
DATA CLEANING
As no variable is excluded from the data because Skewness and Kurtosis values meet the that is
why no need to Data clean and to run all the above tests again.

4) Maximum Range

The data lies between the given range no value exceeds the scale 5 and meets the requirement
significantly.

5) Correlation

It shows the relationship between the two variables. In our data set the correlated variables are as
under:
Organizational Variables (OV) Positively Correlated Individual Working Style (IWS)
Both variables are moving in same direction If one variable is increased or decreased the other
variable will also be increased or decreased respectively. If one variable is changed other will
also change in the same direction. Pearson Correlation value is 0.141 and Significance value
0.284. So, we can say that there is positive correlation and significant relationship between the
two variables.
Organizational Variables (OV) Positively Correlated Job Satisfaction & Performance (JSP)
Both variables are moving in same direction If one variable is increased or decreased the other
variable will also be increased or decreased respectively. If one variable is changed other will
also change in the same direction. Pearson Correlation value is 0.071 and Significance value
0.591. So, we can say that there is positive correlation and insignificant relationship between the
two variables. If the test is run again there is 93% chances that these results will occur again.
6) Regression

It shows the variation in respect of two variables. It signifies the magnitude of change in
Dependent variable due to an Independent variable. The F value is fit and the significance or P
value is significant.
Variable 1 Organizational Variables (OV) & Variable 2 Individual Working Style (IWS)
The magnitude and variation in the Dependent variable due to the effect of an Independent
variable is 0.020. The F value is 1.169 which is fit and the significance or P value is significant
Variable 1 Organizational Variables (OV) & Variable 3 Job Satisfaction & Performance
(IWS)
The magnitude and variation in the Dependent variable due to the effect of Independent variable
is 0.005. The F value is 0.291 which is not fit and the significance or P value is insignificant
