FIGURE 1 with RL=40kΩ

FIGURE 2 with RL=14kΩ

For both figures, whenever the resistance increases, the power also increases but when there is
too much resistance, the power level becomes stable and slowly decreases .
PART 2.

𝑝𝑅2= 𝑉𝐼 𝑝𝑅3 = 𝑉𝐼= 𝑉𝐼

𝑝𝑅2= (165.0V- 103.1V)(0.02063A) 𝑝𝑅3= (103.1V)(0.02063A)
𝑝𝑅2= 1.276997W 𝑝𝑅3= 2.126953 W

𝑝𝑅4= 𝑉𝐼 𝑝𝑅5= 𝑉𝐼
𝑝𝑅4= (165.0V - 123.75V)(0.006875A) 𝑝𝑅5= (123.75V)(0.006875A)
𝑝𝑅4= 0.28359375 W 𝑝𝑅5= 0.85078125 W

The 5kΩ resistor is the connected resistor that absorbs the maximum power
since all of the current and the voltage that flows through that resistor has a
positive polarity.
