BLIND BOX

The Blind Box is a one piece wireline

tool made from solid bar alloy steel
that has a fishneck and threads on
one end, to facilitate attachment to
the wireline string, and a flat bottom
on the other end for delivering blows.
The Blind Box is actually used as a
downhole “hammer,” striking objects
or debris with jarring force.
