COMPARATIVE
We use the comparative to compare two people, places or things.
In comparative we use adjectives.

LOOK:
a) Forming comparative: SHORT ADJECTIVES

● old older ● young younger

b) CVC (1 syllable) + ER (the final consonant is doubled)

● big bigger ● hot hotter

c) Short adjective ended in “–Y” IER.

● easy easier ● heavy easier

d) Long adjective (2/3/4 syllables):

● careful more careful

e) Irregular adjectives:

● good better ● bad worse ● far farther
