CHAPTER 1
THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND
In this chapter, it covers about the problem and background of this study, product

that we innovate, general and specific objectives, scopes and limitation to innovate a

Clicker to become a Rechargeable Clicker which leads this research for being accepted.

INTRODUCTION
There are a lot of devices that can help us to easily in what you’re doing. One of

these devices that the teachers used in teaching is a instructional clicker. This device can

help teachers to interact with the audience while they are teaching. Also, it is known as a

Presentation Clicker or handheld device clicker.

Clicker is an instructional equipment that enables the teachers to easily respond

with the students answer during class. Clicker can also be used in warming up discussion

in class. Teachers can ask students to submit their answers through an interactive

response in a question. These methods will increase the student’s efficiency and enhances

their learning styles. It can promote an active participation, engagement, and discussion

among all students, even those who might not participate in typical class-wide

discussions. Also, it can be assessment tool in providing students with useful and

motivational feedback on their own learning, and providing teachers with information

about student learning that helps them respond to immediate student learning needs.

There are a lot of important aspects that can clicker provide. First, they

immediately broaden student’s participation beyond the font row and also clickers

remove those barriers and you may easy to interact with your audience. Second, they are

welcome disruption from lecturing that can lead to active learning "Clickers aren't

necessarily designed for peer learning, but that's what they should be used for" says

Stephanie Chasteen, an instructor with the University of Colorado Boulder and

educational consultant. For students, compiling and displaying responses immediately

allows them to assess their understanding and also adds a sense of anticipation to lecture

proceedings. On the other hand, faculty can assess both individual and group result and

course correct accordingly. "Students respond to their professor question and then their

prof gets to respond to their answer" says Brian Roberts, Instructional Technology

Coordinator and, by keeping them alive to the moment at hand. (Preville, 2018)

A Clicker has replaceable battery called a dry cell battery, that is why we, the

researchers planned to use a rechargeable battery for extention of its energy because if the

devices will be rechargeable, it lessens the use of a lot of AAA battery or dry cell battery.

It will become very helpful for the user because users don’t need to buy more battery to

be reserve when you loose the energy of the battery. More energy more time for

discussing that it can help you to make a closer interaction to your students, your

discussion will be livelier, and your students will understand what you discuss in them.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

Now a days we saw that they’re use an ordinary clicker is powered by AAA

battery. It’s replaceable you may consume more AAA battery because their energy is fast

to lose, and has a possibility to lose their battery when it fell in the floor. Considering that

these are the factors subjectively experienced by the user. These problems need to be

addressed promptly. Specifically, it should answer the following:

 How to avoid expenses in batteries ?


 How to prevent losing its batteries ?
 How to avoid losing energy immediately ?

OBJECTIVES
General Objective:
The general objective is to innovate the clicker.
Specific Objectives:

The proposed project specifically aims the following:

 To make it rechargeable.
 To kept battery inside the clicker.
 To make it direct charge.
 To change their AAA battery to 3v battery.
 To make it wireless charger.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

This project study aims to innovate a Clicker to extend energy that will help
the user for everyday use.
The system will give benefit to the user, especially teacher have because

The system will give benefit to the university, especially guidance office

because the system will provide a secure and an automated records keeping

system for creating records. It will provide an up-to-date and accurate record of

students and will resolve the possibility of losing the information because it has

database. It will track students' offenses and attendance. The system will also

offer easily retrieval of records and generates report such as student’s

information, disciplinary action records and attendance monitoring sheet

information.

The system will give benefit to the faculty because it will give convenient in

passing student attendance and it can easily track the student’s status regarding

with their attendance.

The system will give benefit to the students because it will provide

sufficient information about the Guidance office such as their services and

hierarchy and they’ll be aware of committing offense because they’ll receive a

notification from the Guidance.
