Introduction
Background of the study
Since the start of the pandemic, online learning has become the
standard for delivering welding education. For some courses, notably those
without a laboratory practice component, the online format seems to be
acceptable. However, as revealed by the survey data, an online format often
poses serious restrictions to content delivery and student success. The high
school or Welding Education and Training (Weld-Ed) is a national partnership
between the welding and materials joining industry and the nation’s
community and technical colleges and universities that is dedicated to
expanding the role and pipeline of welding technicians in industry TV, radio,
modules, there are many different tools and ways for home schooling. Learn

education and training for their students. With the severe restrictions imposed
to mitigate COVID-19, welding instructors, as well as all career and technical
education (CTE) instructors, are thrust into situations requiring innovation and
adaptation.

Significant of the study
This study discuss The Impact of Online Learning to the Skill of SMAW
Students in Ernesto Rondon High School and how the students learn from
online class. As a researcher, this study will be able to help us to know that
Online-Based Learning (OBL) provide us to become more practical and flexible
and also to make us more active and creative while facing the big problem
which is the pandemic.

As a student, this study will give us a benefits for knowing that Online-
Based Learning is also have a good effect in the field of learning.

Our loving parents and love ones, will help them to realize that online
learning can also help their child to learn and grow by the guide of the parents
or guardian for them to be able to aim the chances of every single day to learn
and adventure in the field of learning.
Future research
Today, facing pandemic, struggles in life is difficult to take and to make our
responsibilities and studying more efficient due to lack of money, gadgets, and other needs
for us, so the DepEd has come up with the idea that even indoors the students get an
educational assistance and they’re having some survey, for them to be able to know those
student who need gadge to use for Online-Based Learning, and also for the students to still
studying.
Therefore, it doesn’t reason to waste time because of COVID and other viruses
because simple knowledge is important for students and also for the skills they want to learn
such as a welding education, how can the teacher guide us in teach things we don’t know to
weld correctly and not hurt badly and handle it, because there are many things in future
skills that you have learned of very valuable value that you can get and use. Also, you can
create your own business holding your time and for sure you are a manager too. Having
skills in SMAW are important, because if your parents can’t afford the tuition fee in college,
you can use those skills to have some part time job, and that, you can solve problems
because you really do your best to have money for the sake of your education.
The scope of this study is, the students in Ernesto Rondon High School will conduct
a research to know the effect of blended learning to their skills. The respondents will be
limited as 30 participants in Grade 12 students who are in SMAW section of Academic
Senior High School in Ernesto Rondon High School, Road 3 Project 6. Quezon City

Research hypothesis
Students who eat breakfast will perform better on a math exam than students who do
