1. Discus how to remove automatic transmission from the vehicle from hoisting until transmission pull
out.

Removing the automatic transmission is a laborious kind of work done in a vehicle. It requires a lot of
automotive tools, equipment, and workforce. There are different procedures in removing the automatic
transmission depending on the type of the vehicle or the recommendation of the vehicle's
manufacturer. However, this is the most common procedure of removing the transmission. First, we
need to remove the negative battery cable from the vehicle's battery. It will ensure that we and our
vehicle are safe from any kind of short circuit or spark that can sometimes cause a fire. Second, we need
to hoist the vehicle and make sure that the car lift's arms or jack are positioned on the designated lifting
points of the vehicle. Then after we secure the safe position of the vehicle, we need to drain the
transmission fluid. Third, we need to disconnect the driveshaft or drive axle shafts of the vehicle. In a
vehicle that has a driveshaft, there are several bolts that hold it to the rear differential. Those bolts are
needed to be removed for us to be able to pull the driveshaft out of the transmission. Fourth, we need
to disconnect all the hoses, cooler lines, and electrical connections attached to the transmission. After
we remove these connections, lines, and hoses, we need to label them for the correct reinstalling. We
also need to be careful in removing them to prevent any damage or leak when we put them back on.
Fifth, we need to disconnect the torque converter from the flex plate. This step might be a tough one to
perform particularly in gaining access to the torque converter bolts. We will need to remove the
inspection plate, rotate the engine, and sometimes even the starter. However, despite the difficulties,
we should still make sure that we remove all the bolts because if not it will probably cause an accident
especially when we are going to pull the transmission away from the engine. Sixth, we need to put some
support to the engine before we disconnect the transmission. This will ensure our safety and help us to
pull the transmission easily. Seventh, we need to remove the transmission mounting fasteners. The
removal of these mounting fasteners will allow us to lower the transmission to the ground. Eighth,
through the use of a transmission jack, we will support the transmission. After we remove all the bell
housing bolts, the transmission jack will help us in slowly and carefully lowering the transmission.
Finally, we completely removed and lowered the transmission from the vehicle. The automatic
transmission is ready for other service/s that is needed to be done.

2. Discus how to install automatic transmission to the vehicle until the hoist is down.

There are different procedures in installing an automatic transmission, it depends on the type of the
vehicle and its manufacturer's recommendation. Here are the steps that are frequently used or followed
in installing an automatic transmission. Before we proceed to the first step, we should make sure that
our vehicle is

we need to carefully install the transmission using a torque wrench
