The Unforgettable Memories in my Life

It was last year, month of November, my birthday was going to come. I have
waited for this day for almost a year and have planned for it as well. It’s a
wonderful day for a person to celebrate the day she was born. And that’s why I
treasure this day mostly in my life, and everyone who knows me knows that
birthday is the most important thing that goes in my life. Birthdays are more
important to me than events like wedding and Christmas parties. That’s what
birthday means to me. That year was different from my others year. If you were
wondering what happened, well let me just start out with this.
My birthday was in a weekday, and everyone knows it. Then the night during
the preparation I got angry to my sister because of the simple matter and my
father with our cousin had a dispute so that’s why I exploded. Running, crying on
the road with wind shouting in my ears. After I entered our house, I go to my
room with my father comforting me to stay calm and pray because after that
night is my birthday. And I also enjoyed the simple things, my accomplishments,
the happiest and even worst moments of my life because that teaches me a lot in
life. Like people praying and participating in spiritual practices, I find my
spirituality which eases and relieves me. It is running helping me retrieving
energy, and the memory with it has become the most memorable moments of my
life. I found myself chasing opportunities in my youth. I started competing in
athletic games since secondary schools. I was earnest to strive for the best and
spend most of my time in training and I was dreaming to be an officer of our
school but then I did, opportunity comes in so why not I grab and take it as my
responsibility.
Sometimes I feel like I’m lost in the dessert, wondering where I was and
whether I could go through the hardships. Sometimes I felt my body overused.
But those of my experiences and the moments I had spend with the people that
surrounds me with love and support helps me to see the beauty in every memory
in my life. That everything happens has a reason and a purpose. I have learned,
that whatever happens always ask God to direct us to the right path. We have to
accept the closed door as his will too, and those who walk with God always reach
their destination. And at my conclusion, one of the keys to happiness is not
always a bad memory.
