My Reflection
Based on the result of the test (Do I Have a Love, Lust or Loser Relationship?) I am You
have a Love Relationship. So this is the summary In the test “You're more in love with your
partner than in lust, which is a good thing if you're looking for a relationship with emotional
commitment and long-term possibilities. While you appreciate and enjoy the sex life you have
with your significant other, it doesn't define your relationship. You have a serious, emotional
attachment to your partner, and it sounds as if the two of you may have long-term possibilities.
Good, mature relationships strike a balance between many competing factors. It is often difficult
for a person to maintain that balance, but you appear to be doing so and should be proud of the
healthy love relationship you're in.” and for me I’m in love to my partner.

C. Essay. Write an essay on the three most important things you learned from the results of the

First and foremost, you must love your partner; second, you must have a strong and
emotional bond to your partner; and third, you must have a mature relationship. My takeaway
is that I need to be mature in my relationships in order to apply this to my sexual self-
understanding. When it comes to relationships, be aware of your limitations. Because there will
be things that don't need to happen if you don't progress in your relationship and the idea of
sexuality becomes more surface. That is why we must be mature enough to recognize our

many people around the world who aren’t able to / don’t have the same access to an education.
Education is indeed the most precious treasure that any of us can have. Once we have been
educated, it is now up to us how we will use and treasure it. It needs a lot of perseverance and
concentration so that we can be educated. It will take us lots of time to develop our skills, which
are all part of achieving good education. If we have been educated, it is not impossible to reach
our goals, dreams and ambitions in life. This treasure is the only thing in our life that cannot be
stolen. Our parents spend a lot of money for us to be educated and they know that it is all worth
it.
CHAPTER 9 SPIRITUAL SELF
EVALUATION

ESSAY. Answer the following questions.

1. Distinguish the difference between belief in spirits and belief in the Holy Spirit?
 Spiritualism is a religious movement founded on the concept that the souls of the dead
can communicate with the living. Spiritualists attempted to communicate with the dead,
usually with the help of a medium, a person who is thought to have the ability to
communicate directly with spirits. While the Holy Spirit reveals God's thoughts, teaches,
and guides believers into all truth, including knowledge of what is to come, some
mediums worked while in a trancelike state, and some claimed to be the catalyst for
various paranormal physical phenomena through which the spirits announced their
presence. The Holy Spirit also assists and intercedes for Christians in their times of
need..

2. What is the relationship between religion and spirituality?

 Religion is a collection of organized ideas and behaviors that are usually shared by a
community or group of people. Spirituality is more of an individual discipline that
involves feeling at ease and having a sense of purpose. It also has to do with the process
of forming views about the meaning of life and one's relationship to others.

3. Give at least two kinds of spiritual beliefs ( animism) in the Philippines . What are the reasons
for having those spiritual beliefs?

 Animism is the belief in an infinite number of spiritual creatures who are involved with human
issues and capable of assisting or injuring humans. Animism is not a single creed or doctrine, but
rather a way of looking at the world that is consistent with a variety of religious beliefs and
practices, many of which may continue in more complicated and hierarchical faith.

4. What are the functions of religion in developing the spiritual self?

 Religion assists people in addressing major existential concerns such as why do we die
and suffer, as well as coping with uncertainty. Religion offers a straightforward approach
to dealing with the unknown. It is a method for believers to reach an agreement. It
specifies what values to hold and provides instructions for living a good life.
CHAPTER 10 POLITICAL SELF
EVALUATION

1. Enumerate at least five functions of the political self.

* Recruiting and nominating candidates.

* Educating the electorate about campaign issues.
* Defining the structure and functions of the government.
* Telling the relationship between the State and the citizens.
* Describing their rights, freedom, and obligations as citizens.

2. Explain the origins of the political self. Discuss how the family, school, church, peer groups,
and media affect the development of the political self.

 Although parents have the opportunity to educate their children about government
institutions, political people, and current events, they rarely do so. They have the power
to influence how political values and ideas are formed, such as respect for political
symbols or belief in a cause. Formal classroom teaching in civics and history classes, as
well as the performance of rites and rituals such as the flag salute and extracurricular
activities such as student government, can all contribute to the development of political
learning in schools. The process of political socialization can be influenced by peer
groups. Young individuals are more likely to embrace the attitudes, opinions, and
behaviors of the organizations to which they belong because they desire acceptance. The
capacity of the media to socialize people to politics has changed considerably as the
number of media channels has expanded and new technology allow for more interactive
media experiences. Most individuals must live vicariously through the media since they
do not have direct access to government or officials.

3. Identify current political issues in he Philippines and recount the circumstances that led to the
issue. As a citizen, what can you do to prevent the issues from recurring?
 The Philippines' human rights situation is expected to worsen in 2020. President Rodrigo
Duterte's harsh "war on drugs" has disproportionately targeted impoverished Filipinos in
urban areas since taking office in June 2016. Police and unidentified gunmen linked to
the state have carried out thousands of extrajudicial murders. The number of persons
killed increased dramatically during the Covid-19 lockdown, rising by more than 50%
from April to July 2020 compared to the previous four months. These assassinations have
been carried out with near-total impunity. Threats and assassinations have been made
against left-wing political activists, environmental activists, community leaders,
Indigenous peoples' leaders, journalists, and lawyers. More resolute and bold leadership
is required to put aside entrenched political divisions and manage public discourse and
decision-making in a way that promotes the humanity of others. Leaders should use their
positions to help people in need while also committing to long-term involvement.

4. Give at least three problems that ail the Philippine political system. Explain how these
problems can affect your political views and beliefs. Discuss your answers.
* The return to democracy following the People Power Revolution in February 1986
restored many of the pre-martial-law era institutional features and political elites. Although it is
generally accurate to view 1986 as a return to elite democracy, Philippine society, the state,
and modes of political competition have changed since 1972. Still, even the most positive views
of democracy in the Philippines since 1986 see it as a flawed work in progress; harsher critics
see it as a sham and a failure. Commonly cited flaws include elections tainted by violence and
vote buying, widespread rent-seeking and corruption, policies that have benefited elites and
special interests at the expense of the poor majority, and a dysfunctional justice system.

5. The lives of national heroes are great sources of inspiration. Choose one Filipino hero. Identify
his or her courageous and heroic acts which make him or her worthy of respect and emulation.
Identify your characteristics which are similar to the hero you have chosen and the things that
you can do for the country.
* Andres Bonifacio. He was a Filipino revolutionary hero who founded the Kataastaasan
Kagalanggalang na Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan (KKK) or Katipunan a secret society
devoted to fighting the Spanish occupation of the Philippines. He was the first one to have a
clear vision of what a Filipino nation should be—The Father of the Filipino Nation. He would
later be known as Supremo; destined to change the history of the Filipino people. Having the
passion and determination to have peace in the country makes us similar, and through that we
can achieve a unite Philippines and a happy smiles can be seen.

false information, and even fake news from spreading in our society. As we gain more

actualization? Cite the relationships of the needs according to Abraham Maslow. How do they
affect each other? Give an example for each need and relate it to your own experiences. Describe
the effects of each need on you and your behavior.
When Abraham Maslow introduced his "hierarchy of needs," he popularized the concept of
self-actualization. Self-actualization is also a psychological process aimed at maximizing a
person's capabilities and resources. This technique may vary from person to person. Couture
and his colleagues (2007; Couture et al., 2008). We can conclude that self-actualization is
possible, but not in the time period we wish. It is a process that we must think about in order
to comprehend our own particular needs and objectives. Abraham Maslow proposed the
hierarchy of needs about 70 years ago, and it is still taught as an important part of
motivational psychology. Each requirement's impact on human behavior is being considered.
Basic needs include food, drink, shelter, safety, and security. There are also psychological
requirements, such as a sense of accomplishment, a close relationship, and friends. Finally,
there are demands for self-fulfillment, which are focused with reaching one's full potential,
which includes engaging in creative endeavors. Every need has its own set of repercussions,
but they all work toward the same goal: bringing out the best in people so they can attain
their full human potential. It encourages people to consider what matters most to them and to
become more conscious of how they might improve themselves.

D. Essay. Write an essay on the three important things you discovered about yourself and learned
from each self- assessment activity. What are your insights on the results of the activities?

My Reflection

Learning new facts about oneself is a form of progress. It simply means that each day or
hour of our lives has its own progression. We can get it with the support of others, but we can
get it even more easily on our own. The first thing I discovered is that I do prioritize myself in
whatever I do. From the moment I wake up till the end of the day. Every day, I make sure that I
am feeling better. The next step is to socialize. Having a link to everyone around me gives me
the feeling of not being alone. I always make time for them to have some social interaction so
that I may practice having confidence in front of a large group of people. Finally, I'd want to
discuss my spiritual growth In this situation, it's similar to a domino effect. Starting to worship
God more gives me the mindset of respecting people, having good morals, and loving myself.
Spiritual growth has a big influence on how I prioritize things. As time passes, we are
confronted with new challenges.. We develop ourselves in such challenges that gives us
strength to learn more and to know more about ourselves as an individual.
