0 Data Collection (Interviewing and Transcribing skills)
This research investigated the perception, challenges and readiness of three teachers in using an online teaching and learning system. To gain the information, interview had been conducted through online. First thing first, before the interview conducted, understand the research goal is a compulsory. And then, the questions prepare based on the research topic requirement. As such, there are 3 main open-ended questions about perceptions, challenges and readiness towards online teaching and learning among teachers that then develop into 30 sub questions (refer to Appendix 1) to gain more information from the respondent selected. Secondly, the key informants purposefully selected based on their occupation as a teacher. The key informants in this study were 3 teachers (2 females, 1 man) that currently teaching in three different schools in Sabah and Labuan. One of them were married and the rest is still single. In terms of the field study, all of them are qualification in primary school education which is Science, Music and Remedial Education. In relation to the level of education, one of them is Master holders, and two are degree holders. The key informants were selected because these people play the role in the research setting as well as the quality of the data they provide. The key informants are teachers in three different school area which is in city and rural school. This is because to reveal that school area location has a great influence on teachers' perceptions, challenges and readiness towards online teaching and learning. The summary of key informants’ profile is shown in table 1.
