Fig. 1 explains the flow and use of each mobile application to a user and the
service provider. The user mobile application consists the information of each parishes
and the assigned priests as well with their schedules in calendar form. The user
application books any appointments and services under a certain parish with the freedom
of choice from the user in selecting a priest for his/her request. The user application
displays the schedules of the priests and schedules of ministries in their daily and
monthly activities. The user can cancel or edit any requests from it’s previous ones
wherein it is still pending or processed. For direct communication, the user can chat or
leave messages to that priest or parish for clarification of details. In order for all details to
be processed or sent, the app must be connected to a network whether it’s Wi-Fi or
Mobile Data. All data will be reviewed and sent to the database wherein the admin and
the parish side can view all requests from users and edit the necessary details to be up-to-
date. If the requests are unavailable for the service provider on that specific date, the
system will update the user for an alternative date or rather the system will inform to
reschedule for another date or another priest. Notifications will be sent to the user about
the alternative options in the request. The Parish Side has the features of managing the
accounts of priests, manage its postings, manage bookings from users, exchanges of
messages from the admin to the customers and to the priests, updates the information of
the parish. For the priest side, the features are managing the account itself, exchanging of
messages between the admin, ministry, and user. Also, it can update its schedule in the
application, view the list of bookings, and has the option to accept or deny any requests
from the user.
