Literature Review
We have read many Research Papers about two wheels self-balancing robot, but few were
related to our project. The ideas are already discussed in Literature Review chapter. We have
studied those papers in detail and we learned a lot of things regarding our project two wheels
self-balancing robot.

Components selection
Depending upon the need of our project and the idea that we are representing here, we
Have selected all the components after reading their ratings and other technical parameters. The
components we selected are discussed above with their complete uses and specifications and are
listed below with their price.

Components purchasing
Our project is based on two wheels self-balancing Robot .All the parts are available in the market
so we purchased the parts and started working on them.

PID controller MATLAB designing


As we are using PID controller for our project, we did the detailed analysis for the selection of
accurate controller for our project. We analyzed P,PI and PD controllers but they did not meet
the specifications accurately but the PID controller is a controller which is most stable and we
selected PID controller for our project.

Future Plans

Mechanical structure of robot


Our project is based on different portions so we divided the work, one person will work on
mechanical structure of robot the other two will also help him in working for the robot structure .

Calculations
For the robot structures many calculations are required. the size of tyres, weight of the objects,
torques, and angles calculations are main calculations for our project so we shall start working on
them soon.

Electrical Circuits
Electrical circuitry of the Robot is one of main work of our Robot. We already started working
on it. And we shall make it complete in future.

Self-Balancing Robot
After the completion of mechanical structure of robot our first aim is to make the robot
Self-balancing. After self-balancing of robot we shall make it able to balance the object which
will be lifted on it.
