1. Do a research on the Legal Basis of the National Service Training Program (NSTP) thru this

a. After reading and analyzing the contents of Republic Act No. 9163, it is now time to answer
the following questions to be able to fully understand the NSTP Law.

1. What are the three components of NSTP and explain each component based on your own
understanding.

ANSWER: the 3 components of NTSP are;

ROTC( THE RESERVE OFFICERS TRAINING CORPS) This is mandatory and it was said
by the president to mandate na mandatory of all senior high and also college to study
this ROTC so that if our country have emergency in the future we have reserve force
to help our soldier.

LTS(THE LITERACY TRAINING SERVICE),this is a program designed to train

students to become future teachers, so that the students who study LTS can be a help
to the un-reach children who want to learn.

CWTS(THE CIVIL WELFARE TRAINING SERVICE),this program refers to helping the

community in every aspect, in other terms social service. Example planting trees and
other services.

2. Who shall take NSTP?

ANSWER: Students , whether male or female, of any baccalaureate degree course or
student who is at least two years in college.

3. How many years/ how many semesters can NSTP be taken up?

ANSWER: Two Years

4. How much fee will be charged for an NSTP component?

ANSWER:If you are a student of a Higher and Tech-vocational institute there is no

fee for studying NSTP.

5. Who is responsible for supervising the NSTP?

ANSWER: The CHED and TESDA of regional Offices

6. What lead agencies will monitor the implementation of the NSTP?

ANSWER: The National Security Adviser or (NSA)

7. What is the National Service Corps (NSRC)?

ANSWER: Is where the CWTS,LTS and ROTC takes place,also NSRC was created to
provide trained , motivated and organized man power reserve.

8. Reflection:

Dr. Jose P. Rizal stated that “the youths are the hopes of the country”, enumerate simple ways
on how you can contribute to the success and development of the country?

ANSWER:

For me , the only thing that I can do is to follow and obey what the government and my family
implements , it's simple right? But that is the ost problem nowadays people are much more on
giving opinion but not things about obeying youths right this moment only knew how to critique
and bash the government and say that the government did not do anything but they don't even
listen on the common rules has taken.Thats why obeying and following our family and the
government will really help a lot, its ok to say your opinion but that doesn't mean you're just
gonna critic not obey.
