WEEKLY HOME LEARNING PLAN

GRADE 4

Learning Area: Homeroom Guidance Module No. 2

Week No. 3-6 Date Covered: October 19-
November 9-13, 2020

Objectives:
1. identify the roles and importance of others as part of family, school and community;
2. discuss the positive effects of valuing your role in the family;
3. recognize your fundamental rights and family members; and
4. value the positive results of respecting the rights and importance of others.

TIME LEARNING TASK
Monday Preliminaries
8:00-9:00  Wake up, arrange your beddings, eat breakfast and get ready for our class!
 Have a short exercise / bonding with family.
Introduction (Let’s Try This)
Suggested Time Allotment: 30 minutes
1. Copy the table below on a sheet of paper.
2. Complete the table by writing down on the left column the tasks that were assigned to you at
home.

3. On the right column, list down the activities that you do with your family together. (Example:
eating together or playing with your parents/guardians.)

4. You may ask your parents/guardians to help you in completing this activity.
5. Answer the questions on page 7.
 After a short discussion, give the module to your child/learner and let him/ her ready the separate
notebook/ answer sheet for the succeeding activities.
Pre assessment (Let’s Explore This)
Suggested Time Allotment: 30 minutes
Talk to any of your family members about at least three (3) rights and three (3) responsibilities of a child.
Write it down on a clean
sheet of paper. Then, answer the questions on page 7 .
Remember: You may ask your child to review his/her answers before proceeding to the lesson
proper.

You are a part of your family. Whatever type and structure of family you have, your presence and role is
important. Therefore, you have to help by keeping a healthy relationship with them. Here are some tips:
Remember: Guide your child in answering the questions.
Remember: You may ask your child to write in his/her notebook the name of the things he/ she
hears that can produced loud or soft sounds.
 After setting your child’s interest on the lesson, let him/ her continue the activity on page 9.

Suggested Time Allotment: 10 minutes
1.Look at the picture below and imagine that you are that person.
2.Complete the statement with things that you would do to have a good relationship with your family
and other people. Write your answer on a sheet of paper on page 10.
Remember: Read the directions carefully and guide your child to understand the activity easily.
3. (What I have Learned)
Suggested Time Allotment: 10 minutes
The following are the different activities you can do at home. Write numbers 1 to 10 on a piece of
paper. After each number, write YES if you agree with the statement and write NO if you disagree.
If your answer is NO, write the appropriate behavior.
Remember: You can assist your child in reading the words if he/ she is not yet an independent
reader. Let the learner answer on his/ her own.
4. (Share Your Thoughts and Feelings)
Suggested Time Allotment: 10 minutes
1. Draw and color a picture of your family on a clean paper.
2. List the names of your family members including yours. Write the role of each family
member after each name. (page 12)
Remember: You can guide your child in answering the Guided activities, but let him/her answer
on his/ her own in the Independent activities. Make sure that your child understands the directions
very well before he/ she writes the answers in the notebook/ answer sheet.
MODE OF DELIVERY:
The parent or guardian shall return this module to the teacher/adviser at the given schedule and given venue.
