For each case make the operations necessary to find the solution. Work in your notebook

the platform. Show all the steps. The total value of this practice is 80 points and each
problem gives 40 points, 20 for the correct process and 20 for the correct answer.

1.- There is a slide in the park. One of its side walls has been painted in the same color with a
message “KEEP THE PARK GREEN AND CLEAN” (see the given figure). If the sides of the wall
are 15m, 11m, and 6m, find the area painted in color. Use Heron´s formula.

S: 11 + 6 + 15 = 32

2.- Liadashell made a picture of an airplane with
colored papers in the triangular parts as shown in the
given figure. Find the total area of paper she used. Use
Heron´s formula.
