TECHNICAL REPORT
DATE: JULY 12, 2021 DATE INSPECTED: JULY 09, 2021
CUSTOMER : DMCI SO # :
PROJECT : INFINA NORTH TOWER SR #
SUBJECT : LOVATO ATS OF LVSG A1 SRQ # :
DESCRIPTION : LOVATO ATL 500
PROBLEM:
1. Unusual Blinking lights 3. Cannot communicate with cellphone
2. Cannot reset 4. Cannot be Auto/Manual, always sending genstart
WRITTEN REPORT:

During simulation testing of ATS Controller for LVSG A1, the ATS functioned automatically but as per
DMCI delay for Emergency to Normal needs to be adjusted to 1 minute since the actuall transfer is just
only 3 seconds upon presenceof Normal Power.
So, we first set the controller into "Manual Mode" since it cant be programmed when it is in "Auto
Mode" and tapped/aligned the Cellphone with NFC to the Lovato ATL 500 in to the "NFC" Logo where
we normally do.
After succesful transferring of the new program to the Lovato ATL 500, as seen on the cellphone it
was succesful, the Lovato ATL 500 sends immediately a "Genstart Signal" and the LED Lights of the
Lovato ATL 500 blinking abnormally.

We tried to reset the controller by:

1. Long Pressing the "Manual" button
2. Turning off its power supply by a minute
3. Removing all terminals connected to the Lovato ATL 500
4. Re-program it with 2 different phones, none of the phones connected to it

Unfortunately, none of those mention above fixed the problem with the unusual blinking of lights.
As per observation, the Lovato ATL 500 must reset everything when it new setpoints was programmed
but this time the Lovato ATL 500 did not reset by itself and just show the unusual blinking light.
For the video of the said Lovato ATL 500: https://youtu.be/be0Xbq7aw80

RECOMMENDATION :
1. Report to Supplier for possible corrupted Lovato ATL 500 controller.
2. Replacement of Lovato ALT 500 Controller.
