STUDY GUIDE IN CIVIL PROCEDURE

2nd Semester, SY 2020-2021


Professor: Pros. Jaime A. Añonuevo, Jr.

I. Classroom Rules:
1. Attendance will be checked at the beginning or conclusion of every online
meeting.
2. Random recitation will be conducted every meeting. Students are expected
therefore, to come to class prepared. When a student is reciting, the rest of the
class are expected to listen. Students are encouraged to participate in the
discussion by asking questions.
3. The Socratic method and lectures, quizzes and case reporting will be adapted in
this course. A student who is called to recite is expected to close his/her book or
any reading materials during the recitation.
4. Electronic gadgets are not prohibited during class hours. Students are expected
however, to put it on silent mode as soon as they step into the virtual classroom.
5. During online quizzes and exams students are expected to close their books and
other reading materials. Searching for answers on the internet is also discourage
and is considered cheating.

II. Bases for student evaluation at the end of the semester:

1. Recitation/Case digest reporting/attendance and Quizzes - 30%


2. Midterm Exam - 30%
3. Final Exam - 40%

III. This is only a course outline wherein the professor is not stopped nor limited within
the course in his discussion/recitation. It is highly encouraged that the student should
have more than one references or books or other related and co-related materials to
the subject matter or course as the study of law is an inter-relation of different
subjects of law.
