NARRATIVE REPORT

By: Rachael Q. Cahayagan

Date of the Meeting: October 19, 2021

Topic: Key Features of a Parabola
Speaker: Mrs. Antonia Yncierto

On October 19, 2021, my resource teacher Mrs. Antonia Yncierto conducted a meeting in
MS Teams App and discussed the Key Features of a Parabola.
My resource teacher is in charge of the Grade 9-Freedom meeting, which begins one
minute early. She begins with a prayer to draw the kids' attention before he formally begins the
new class. She establishes some ground rules before beginning the session and, together with Mr.
Maranga, welcomes the new observer to her class.
After the introduction, the teacher uses a PowerPoint presentation to introduce the new
lesson. During the PowerPoint presentation, there was an interruption. Nonetheless, the issue was
resolved. The teacher uses a whiteboard to give the lesson. To illustrate the new lesson, the
teacher draws a cartesian plane on the whiteboard. The teacher first goes over the new lesson
with the pupils before allowing them to respond to the example. The students identify the graph's
symmetry axis, y-intercept, vertex, and the turning point. During the exercise, a large number of
students participate. At this moment, the teacher is a behaviorist, and every time the pupils'
answer right, the teacher reinforces them.
Because the pupils have already grasped the new lesson, the teacher sets reminders for
the students' upcoming periodic tests. She explains the type of test that will be used for the exam
and encourages students to study or take notes so that they can use it as a reviewer. It was
successful because the time ended one minute later than expected.

Topic: Review of Rational Expressions
Speaker: Mrs. Antonia Yncierto

On October 19, 2021, my resource teacher Mrs. Antonia Yncierto conducted a meeting in MS
Teams App and discussed the Review of Rational Expressions.
My resource teacher is in charge of the Grade 8-Peace meeting, which begins two
minutes early. She begins with a prayer to draw the kids' attention before he formally begins the
new class.
Following the introduction, the teacher begins the review with a video. The video,
however, has a flaw in that it is devoid of sound. After then, the teacher adjusts it to make it
audible for the students. There are two videos about the lesson that are shown. The teacher takes
a break from the movie and asks the pupils questions. During the conversation, just a small
number of students participate.
When the film is finished, the teacher gives an example of his or her own, which is
displayed on the whiteboard. When the teacher asks them questions, the pupils react. When the
time is nearly up, the teacher calls a halt to the conversation and issues a few reminders. The
teacher urges the students to prepare for the exam and practice problem solving. The meeting
ended two minutes over its scheduled end time, and it was a success.
