Over the past years the world has undergone large

social and cultural shifts .There always has remained a

difference of ideas between any two generations regarding the
ideas of life , love and success.
One of the main changes has to be the invention of Internet.
In this day and age we all have easy access to information which
our parents had to get thru books, newspapers etc. Technology is
also one of the biggest contributors to the generation gap. With
smartphones, laptops, tablets we start to live another life in the
digital world. Something that our parents never thought would
exist .
Another reason could be the difference in upbringing.
Usually people from different generation have distinct ideas,
because the world that they lived in had their set of values that
differs from the current ones.
Back in the days more people lived in the rural area of the
country and the cities aren’t as dense as they are now. But with
the modernization and urbanization of the world more people
started to move to the cities, because they can find better
opportunities here. One example are my parents that moved
from their village and started a family in Chișinău.
In conclusion, civilization has changed a lot and it will
keep altering from generation to generation. I think that we will
be like our parents when we will be older and think in a different
way compared to our kids.
