Intermediate General English Lesson 99 – Retirement

At what age would you like to retire? Why?

I like to do things that I like to do so I want to create a situation that I will
do what I like and maybe get money. I really can't imagine that I sit all day and
do nothing. So I want to go to the office, but I would like to do my YouTube
channel and be a one-man company. Because I don't need to work somewhere and work 8
hours and we should work for 6 hours maximum because we can be creative.

I think I will have to save a lot of money and maybe I will not get anything from
my social security. So I don't think that anyone will help us when we are older.
Right now I really prefer to watch something on YouTube rather than looking at what
other ideas all the politicians might have.
I don't think that someone will help us when we are older but we will see. i am
trying to save enough money to live when I am older and I have a worse situation
than we have right now. On the other hand, money is just paper so I don't; think it
will be worth much in the next few years. They are making some new currency and
they want to create something like one account for one person. This bank account is
not in our bank but it will be in some central bank.
No one from the Rothchild family is doing anything, but they shouldn't do anything
too fast. Probably some people want to destroy their power.
Two weeks ago I watched a long movie on YouTube.
It is the guy called Trader 21.
He showed the compilation of clips in which the journalists are saying the same
thing. Probably in a few months, everyone will believe everything that they are
being shown.

When someone works a lot of years he or she should get enough so they could stop

but some people like working even if they don't get much money. They could share

Two weeks ago I spoke with a guy who bought a house for 600000. I am really scared
to get a loan for the house. We don;t know what will happen in the next few days or
months.
Maybe our economy will collaps.
But I really want to make something on my own. I want to make something new. When
I am listening to podcasts. I downloaded podcasts. Right now I think that I am not
a stupid man because people who are big now started like me. Right now they really
like to share. Almost all of them, say that you need to try and if you fail you
will just lose some time and you will know that it wasn't for you. Right now at our
company, we do the same thing all the time. Last week, I was sitting for three days
because I wanted to make a movie for my YouTube channel.

Nest eggs should be mandatory for everyone. Right now, people are spending money on
unimportant things. Maybe they think that the government will help them in the
future. Some people are getting money from our taxes and they are still telling us
that it is not enough.
Everyone is printing. It is the same thing as Federal Reserves in the USA. What is
worth a paper with the American president. No one wants to exchange. People didn't;
have access to it.
One man increased the debt of the whole country and the citizen of the country had
to pay for that.
Silver, gold.
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are problematic because that money can be also
worthless. It is also that people do not how economics work. They are happy to get
more money in their wallets.
Soros wants to create debt. Sometimes I don't understand how 20 years ago the same
apartment we could buy for much less.

Probably the money is worth less than 20 years ago.

People who are buying this thing because they think that the worth will increase.
If I get this 1000000 PLN you will get 1100000 back.
Some people should find a hobby.

What would your hobby be when you retire?
I know that I don't like sitting and doing anything, but I don't know if I want to
find something.
Maybe I will be tired and I will be sleeping and doing nothing and after 40 years
of working, I would like to do nothing.

It is nice when you see that the company that you created helps others and people
are sending some money for what you did.
Are there any other accomplishments that you would like to achieve before you
retire?
Maybe to learn another language.
I don't like people from Warsaw because of people.

Right now I am planning on what I would like to do this year.
I want to be healthy and work as long as this is possible. I have a brain and two
hands and I can take care of myself.

Would you consider retiring early if you make it big?

Probably if I will have enough money, but I think it could be problematic if we
don't have a stable source of income.

Do you think you would be able to save enough for your retirement years?
I try but the first thing I want to do without any loans is to buy my own house. I
am trying to save money. I don't want to build a large house and I want to build
for my own money that I earn and save.
I really know what I will do with that money if I don't want to spend it.
If you can still work after your mandatory retirement, will you look for another
job?
Do we have mandatory retirement?
We can work still, but I don't know because if someone is over 50 years there are
some younger people who can do much more and faster than we can do.

What would you do in your free time when you retire?

I will try to live with less stress. Maybe I will do something in my garden and
work on my car. I would probably live slower/. If I do something wrong I will fix
it I want sometimes to do nothing and think about the future, but sometimes I don't
like the type of work I do now. I think slower life would be better for my health.
Where do you use yourself in 30 years?
Probably not in this company. I know a person who worked in just one company
throughout her life. I try to fulfill my plan and maybe in the second part of this
year will change and I can start looking for a new job. I don't know what will
happen in the next 30 years. I just want to do what I am doing right now and try to
better at the things I am doing right now.
