Step 1: Analyze

1A. What are your goals for your lesson?


 Know my students’ profile: Personal and educational information such as age,
nationality, previous experiences and interests should be determined.
 Distinguish between what the students already know and what they should know
after discussing the lesson.
 What do the students need to accomplish at the end of the program? What are the
learner’s needs?

1B. What are the relevant characteristics of your learners that you will consider?
 Considering their strengths and weaknesses, for example, if they more lively
engage in learning by applying group activities or peer collaboration so, it is an
advantage for the teacher to use collaborative teaching strategy in the classroom
but still using other strategies.
 Also, the diversity of the learners for example, if you observe or reflect that mostly
of the students learn quick by through the means of technology so, mostly your
activities or tasks are done by manipulating the usage of technology such as using
music or video serve as your motivation also in other activities.

Topic: Letter M
Grade Level: Grade I

Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:

 Identify the Letter M;


 Give the sound of letter M;
 Write the mother /M/ and baby /m/; and
 Participate actively in the class.

2B. How will you measure if students have achieved these objectives? What assessment
tools and processes will you use?

I will measure if students have achieved these objectives through doing


demonstration where I will ask the students to imitate the sound of letter M individually,
then I will ask them to write the mother M and baby m by tracing it in the paper.
