a) They need to either secure a student parademic position with an
ambulance service trust or attend an approved full-time course in
parademic science at a university. b) Joining the ambulance service is no longer a route to becoming a parademic. c) A minimum of five GCSEs and at least two A Levels or equivalent qualifications is typically needed. d) Besides academic qualifications, a full, manual driving license is also essential. e) In order to register with the HCPC, you must successfully complete an HCPC-approved programme in parademic science. f) A parademic science course last from two to five years. g) Students on full-time courses in parademic science are not eligible for financial support through the NHS.
