Click on Search All to


begin your search. If
you’ve registered click
on My Searches access
searches you have
already saved.

To keep a lookout for your dream job, register and


create a Career Alert. You’ll be notified by e-mail when
an opportunity becomes available that matches your
search criteria.

are not a roll up of states/
provinces. E.g. CAN- All or
USA-All. They refer to
positions where the location
of the position is flexible or
has not yet determined.

mgr, rep, etc. will impact your search

Viewing A Job Posting
Submit your resume
from this page if you are
applying to a specific
position. You’ll need to
do this from the Position
Detail page.

The posting end date indicates the date the job posting will
expire. In this example the posting will no longer be available on
November 26, 2004 at 11:59 pm.

Click Submit Resume to apply for this job.

Applying For A Job

If you have previously registered


and logged into the site your
contact information will be pre-
populated for you.

You will then be asked to fill in some


of your preferences.

It is important to indicate the


source you heard about the
position. If you heard about the
position specifically from:

• Internet board, please select


“Premium Post Site” and
indicate the specific Internet
board.
• Campus, please select
University/ College and the
appropriate school.

If you heard about this


position through a
newspaper code, or have an
employee referral code enter
it here.

Choosing Your Resume Submission Method

If you have previously


registered you can select
one of your saved resumes.
You will not have the ability
to save a cover letter through
this option.

The preferred method receive resume is through the cut


and paste option. You should paste your resume from
note pad. You can also include a cove letter.

If you would like to build your


Canadian Employment Equity (EE) Survey resume you can use
Resume builder. Your
resumes will not be saved,
but you can include a cover
letter.

The survey is intended to collect information on


whether you consider yourself a member of one
or more designated groups (i.e. visible minority,
aboriginal, person with a disability) using the
definitions of the Employment Equity Act.

Responses to the survey are encouraged but


completely voluntary. If you choose to disclose,
the information will be used to monitor RBC’s
recruitment efforts on an aggregate basis and will
not be used in individual hiring decisions.

Previewing Your Resumes/ Application

Please note, this will only be populated when


you’ve used the cut and paste option or the
resume builder.

If you’re satisfied click the submit button. If you


would like to make edits click the back button

Confirming Your Resume Was Sent

You will see this text when you submit


a resume for a specific position or
when you make a general resume
submission. Confirmation of a job
application will be sent to the email
address you provided on the “Submit
Resume” page.

Checking The Status of Your Resume Submission

As of August 4 , 2005 you will be able to view the status your on-line resume submission after you’ve applied
for a job. The only way you can take advantage of this upgrade to make sure you register your profile.
Once you’ve registered make sure you login before applying to jobs. This will allow you to see
the status of your resume submission.

Once you have logged in, you will be


able to see a new line called “My
Submitted Application Status”.

Once you click on the link you will be taken to the “Manage Submission” screen to see your application
requests and historical applications.

This allows the system to recognize you and match your information with your application

**Remember, you can only see information IF you were registered and
logged in at the time you applied for a job.

How to Delete Your Career Alert:

Log in using your


registered candidate
profile username
and password

In the “My Career Alert” section, select your


Saved Search Agent and choose the career
alert you would like to delete.

Click the delete option. You will receive a pop up


prompt asking you to verify you want to delete the
career alert (job agent). Click OK.

The system will refresh and


your career alert will be
gone.

Please note; you can only delete career alerts where you set them up. For example, if you set
up a career alert in the US pages, you must delete the career alert there.

feature described in this document. Peopleclick cannot provide any information on resume
