Methodology
Research locale
The study was conducted in the Division of Quezon specifically public High
Schools in the third district of Quezon which is highly affected by the COVID-19
pandemic and majority of the schools are implementing modular distance learning as

specialization. The questionnaire is used as the main data gathering instrument in this
study. The questionnaire includes the profile of the respondents and the survey proper.
The profile consists of the socio demographic profile of the respondents such as name,
age, gender, name of school, years in service and highest educational attainment. The
survey proper includes the pedagogical skills and instructional adjustment of the
respondents and the instructional innovation made by the respondents in the pilot
was adapted by the researcher from the study of Eduardo Carag entitled Pedagogical
City, Philippines. the questionnaire of this study is submitted to his adviser for
comments and suggestions on the content and structure. after the first validation from
his adviser, the researcher will now seek for guidance from the veterans in the field for
further comments and suggestions on the questionnaire. To ensure the safety of both
the researcher and respondents, the researcher used google forms in gathering data
and only used traditional paper and pencil for the school who are not reached by mobile
data.
The research instrument will first be submitted to the thesis adviser for approval
and forwarded to the five experts for validation. Upon approval and validation, a letter of
request addressed in the division of question is sent for the approval and confirmation
that the study will be done on the different schools in the division of Quezon. A letter
from the division will be used by the researcher as a permit and will be given to all
