The importance of the soil analysis depends on the type of project you are going to
carry out and its magnitude; With the results that the soil study gives you, you can
make decisions about the type of foundation to use and to what depth you should
cement; depending on the type of soil is the bearing capacity of the soil.

Geotechnics is divided into two parts, soil mechanics and rock mechanics, both are
used as very important studies before starting a construction project. In a structure
if the soil isn’t studied, it can fall, so it is important to know about soil analysis.
Soil tests consist of 3 steps:
Sample taking, laboratory analysis and formulation of recommendations on the land
to be built.
The most difficult step is taking samples because if you don’t take a sample of natural
terrain, the analysis wouldn’t be correct.

Finally, if we want to study civil engineering, we should learn about geotechnics

because it is one of the pillars of this beautiful professional career.
