Some people say that in order to be happy, you must have a job you love doing.

Others say that other factors are more important. Do you think that people can only be
happy if they have a job they really enjoy?

It is true that some individuals define their happiness only based on having a job which they
love doing. While I accept that this may be suitable to many people, I believe that others base their
happiness on other things besides their well-paid job
On the one hand, there are a variety of reasons why people should do a job which they really
enjoy so as to be happy.First of all is that their ideal job meets their job satisfaction. As a result,
this will encourage their motivation to try hard and enhance the level of job performance. For
example, Marie Curie’s real joy was easing human suffering since her occupation was considered
as a revolutionary for humankind. Furthermore, because of their passion for the job, they will
never feel tired or stressful. It plays an integral part to guarantee a happy life.
On the other hand, inhabitants have different fundamental factors apart from the job to be glad.
Firstly, many people believe that having a high-paying salary means happiness, no matter what the
job is. Being offered a high pay allows us to meet human’s basic needs, buy essentials and even
pay for the luxuries. Secondly, doing simple things which we love is another thing to define
happiness. For instance, my father is contented with watching his favourite TV programmes
whereas preparing a delicious meal for family makes my mother fell pleased.
In conclusion, it is certainly true that an enjoyable job can be a significant factor for many
people to feel happily, but this is by no means the key consideration for true joy.
