RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Event Planning
• CIBC 10th Mobile Anniversary Event: Planned and designed 4-tier celebratory cake for CIBC
Head Office. The design included; fondant covered tiers in CIBC colours, food safe printed logos,
gumpaste cellphones which displayed screens from the launch, trimmed 2 tiers and the current
cellphone and landing page as the cake topper.
• CIBC Children’s Activities: During Children Christmas parties there was a lack of craft activities
for children to entertain themselves while waiting for Santa. Developed activity stations with
age-appropriate crafts. First year there 3 activities. Grew to 8 activities over the years. The
result was that 3000 children had fun, interactive and engaging experiences with artistic
expression. The party became a richer experience and included Santa Claus.
• Adult Events: Saw a need for a new way for Brides-to-Be to connect with their friends.
Developed a Paint it Yourself ceramic party specific to the needs of Bridal Parties. This included
liaison with the Bride-to-Be to select ready to paint items. The Bridal party would gather and
create. Once created the items were returned to the bride as gifts from the heart.
Organization
• Trips: As an avid traveller, responded to requests from others to organize trips and outings.
Organized a Caribbean cruise for 2, including locations, accommodations and more. Also, an
Asian trip for 2 from Singapore to Beijing with all activities, layovers, accommodations and
more. The result was repeat business.
• Business Library: In response to a routine request for a business process update, discovered
that the business process repository was in disarray. In collaboration with 3 Managers and 3
staff, undertook the complete overhaul of the repository. Initiated a new coding and filing
system, placed it all on a shared drive and clarified the methodology for naming and version
control. In just under 1 year, approximately 5000 documents were organized and easily
accessible by anyone on the team.
Relationship Building
• Collaborative: Genuinely friendly and out-going. Uses active listening to hear and understand
both the expressed and un-expressed needs. Influences without direct control by sincerely
