DESCRIBING A FESTIVAL this festival began in 1972 when it

was held for the first time to
commemorate the 50th
anniversary of the radio station
called "770 KOB". Now the festival
became the biggest balloon festival.
500 balloons participate each year
and bring together people from all
over the world.

WHERE. (name / time / reason the albuquerque international

for celebrating balloon festival. It is an annual
festival of hot air balloons. It is
celebrated three weekends of the
month of October in the city of
Albuquerque.

WEATHER The weather here has been a

littlet crazy, It's varies between 8°
and 24 °C. It has been windy but
there has also been sunny, in the
mornings it has been cold but
then the weather has been very
hot in the afternoons and again at
night it has been cold.

WHAT YOU HAVE DONE We have already chosen the

perfect place to see all the
WHAT YOU HAVE EATEN AND balloons. We have organized our
DRUNK things on the grass to have a
good view. We have greeted our
friends and people we meet. we
have seen many pets and we saw
some dogs playing with the puck.
We didn’t know, but the typical
food here is Mexican so we have
eaten Mexican food. We have
tried a toasted bread cut into
slices that are cooked with
banana, raisins and peanuts call
Capirotada, it's a kind of dessert.
We have also eaten Burritos,
tacos and something call
Chalupas

THE EVENT ITSELF the festival started very early. the

pilots arrived at approximately 4
am. there were too many people.
They dressed in a very comfortable
way. people could ride hot air
balloons. the festival site was a flat,
grassy surface. people stayed until
night to see the balloons that lit up
the sky.

WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO After the festival we are going to

DO NEXT DAYS/ tour the city of Albuquerque. We
are going to walk to see the
WHAT YOU WILL PROBABLY beautiful landscapes of the city
DO and its surroundings. We are

going to visit the nearby

indigenous villages. We are going
to go to the city zoo "ABQ
BioPark Zoo".

If time is enough, we will go to

the Turqueza Museum and maybe
also we will go for a ride on
Sandy's tram and we will wait to
see the sunset. We probably
willgo to see the replica of the
house of Walter White, the
protagonist of the Breaking Bad

STATE YOUR PERSONAL We think it was the most

OPINION ABOUT THE incredible and great idea to come
FESTIVAL to the international balloon
festival. We met the entire city of
Albuquerque and we were
delighted with the landscape, it is
beautiful! We loved the museum,
there is too much history there.
The indigenous people are
wonderful, their culture is
different and they speak
differently. The truth is that we
need to return soon, we lack time
to finish seeing the entire city.
