Actual Nursing Diagnosis

1. Acute pain related to inflammation as evidenced by progressive worsening pain


2. Impaired comfort related to physical discomfort as evidenced by swelling, erythematous,
and tender to touch of multiple joints
3. Activity Intolerance related to pain secondary to systemic lupus erythematosus as
evidenced by limited range of motion
4. Impaired Physical mobility related to joint pain secondary to Systemic Lupus
Erythematosus as evidenced by severe pain causing limited range in the involved joints

Risk Nursing Diagnosis

5. Risk for falls related to limited range of movement in the affected joints
6. Risk for injury
7. Risk for Impaired skin integrity as evidenced by pain and swelling of joints
8. Risk for Ineffective coping aeb sleep disturbance due to pain and swelling.
9. Risk for self-care deficit related to pain and impaired mobility secondary to systemic
lupus erythematosus
