 Dealing with English Fever

English become popular among most people due to some reason. The strong evidence
can be seen on the internet. Krebs (2001) and Press (2002) reported that almost half of internet
users and most of the websites in 1999 were in English. Moreover, English has become the
principle of scientific article writing. Garfield (1998) showed that the article cited was written in
English is increase more than 10% during 20 years. The increase is not due to the English
speaker publish more articles, but the non-English speaker, German scholars, unexpectedly
publish their 26.000 articles in English larger during the same time. On the other hand, The
Pasteur Institute in Paris only needs 14 years to change from 15% to 100% of their articles to be
English. Courty (2001) reported that the experience of the academics, as well as researchers,
also compel them to use English for writing the articles and communication with other
researchers around the world. In addition, de Lotliniere (2001) explained that the International
Civil Aviation Authority has suggested using English in most international air traffic.
