Globalization of the Economy

(word count: 604)

Year after year, economic globalization accelerates. For example, materials and

machinery. Smartphones, desktops, and electronics are all examples. These items are

marketed and dispersed all over the global economy, and all benefit from them. It is not

only technologies which are being dispersed, but also goods such as food which are

being manufactured in various parts of the globe. Throughout this paper, I would then

discuss what I managed to understand from the article, what is still unclear depending

on my ability to understand, three topics that I used to believe about on the particular

specific subject, and finally, questions that I would want to ask about such topic and

clarify.

The very first thing I have learned from the assigned article is about globalization.

What I know about globalization was its description or context. I was unaware of its

various branches, such as technological, social, and cultural aspects, as well as

economic globalization. The following valuable lesson I gained from the assigned

reading was about a newly developed globalization aspect. It is all about the

connections or interrelationships between multiple nations. This is because of its global

manufacturing connections. According to my comprehension, it is about nations that

work together to produce goods for one another, which would be a win-win situation.

Both states would gain from goods from other countries worldwide. This is also a

commercial enterprise for, and they can profit from it. And last lesson I discovered was

that I understood exactly further about globalization than I could have had before. The

whole article assisted me better to fully comprehend the relevance and meaning of the

contemporary world we live in today.

One of several things I'm not yet sure about is how integration relates to

globalization. I'm currently perplexed by its idea of globalization and the argument

presented was insufficient for my comprehension. The second thing that I'm not quite

sure at is the OECD. I suggested they will indeed clarify what it meant so that I could

obtain a greater understanding of its relationship or relevance to our age of globalization

currently. Finally, there is the Maastricht Globalization Index (MGI). I did not very much

understand it because, in my personal view, it could use a lot greater evidence to notify

things simpler for the reader to comprehend.

The very first thing that came to mind when I thought regarding this topic was just

something I had learned. Initially, I hardly understand the basic context but had no

concept concerning all its numerous different concepts or the significance of

globalization in those other aspects. I used to believe that globalization was not really a

big deal presently. Everything is a consequence of globalization, otherwise it is

globalization on its own, as far as I can tell. Then, I often used to believe that the article

would only discuss globalization in its broadest sense, rather than its various branches

and aspects.

The very first question I have is, "Would then globalization keep going to evolve

in the coming years?" Then there's the question of "what might take place to our globe if

we don't have globalization?" The final question is, “How else can we create

globalization better for our generations to come?”.

2
To summarize, globalization is among the all too many critical topics we require

under this modern era. This is a direction for us to communicate our cultural practices,

innovations, and goods which both manufacturers will cherish. I say that globalization

would then constantly evolve since change is unavoidable. It will be fascinating in

seeing how generations to come perceive globalization in comparison to all of us

presently.
