Investigation Report

Introduction

This paper aims at summarizing and reporting what was observed for facilities in
Luqmanul Hakim mosque at Politeknik Negeri Bandung . It is one of big assignment from
subject English Business II.

We observed facilities in Luqmanul Hakim mosque with survey method. We are

using Google form or G-form to make the survey form. We use the facility from google
because it easy to disseminate the survey forms. The survey form is consist of multiple
choice questions and essay questions.

The target of this survey was the Politeknik Negeri Bandung students, Politeknik
Negeri Bandung lectures and all the staff in Politeknik Negeri Bandung who prayed in the
Luqmanul Hakim mosque.

At the end, based on the survey result it will be processed into Observation Report
that consist of introduction, statement of problem, analysis, solution and recommendation.

Statement of Problem

In the Politeknik Negeri Bandung, the majority if students, lecturers and staff are
muslim, so the Luqmanul Mosque is always used for worship.
 Sometime jama’ah, feels a lack when they worship in the Luqmanul Hakim
mosque, so we questioning what the jama’ah feels when they are doing worship and what
are the facilities that must be repair add or replace.

Anaysis

Based on the questionnaire that our group shared, there were 39 respondents from
various departments who filled out questionnaires about the judge's lukmanul mosque.
From the results of the questionnaire, there were 19 people who said that the lukmanul
hakim mosque facilities were adequate, 18 people said that the judge's lukmanul mosque
facilities were sufficient and 2 people said that the lukmanul hakim mosque facilities were
inadequate.

Regarding facilities in general, we gave questionnaire questions about worship

equipment in the lukmanul judge mosque, based on answers from the respondents there
were 15 people who said that the worship equipment in the lukmanul hakim mosque was
adequate, 23 people said that the worship equipment in the lukmanul mosque was enough
sufficient, and 1 person who said that the worship equipment in the lukmanul hakim
mosque was inadequate.

Regarding the volume of water in the Luqmanul Hakim mosque, based on answers
from the respondents there were 7 people who said that the volume of water in the
lukmanul hakim mosque was sufficient, 18 people said that the volume of water in the
judge's lukmanul mosque was sufficient, and 14 people said that the volume the water in
the lukmanul hakim mosque is not enough.

Regarding the place of ablution at the Luqmanul Hakim mosque, based on answers
from the respondents there were 11 people who said that the place of ablution at the
Luqmanul Hakim mosque was adequate, 20 people said that the ablution place at the
Luqmanul Hakim mosque was adequate, and 8 people said that the place ablution at the
Luqmanul Hakim mosque is inadequate.
 Regarding toilet hygiene at the Luqmanul Hakim mosque, based on answers from
these respondents there were 8 people who said that the cleanliness of toilets at Luqmanul
Hakim mosque was adequate, 17 people who said that the cleanliness of toilets at
Luqmanul Hakim mosque was sufficient, and 14 people said that toilet cleanliness the
Luqmanul Hakim mosque was not yet adequate.

Regarding the comfort of the Luqmanul Hakim mosque, based on answers from the
respondents there were 8 people who said that comfort at the Luqmanul Hakim mosque was
adequate, 17 people who said that the comfort of the Luqmanul Hakim mosque was
sufficient, and 14 people said that it was comfortable at Luqmanul Hakim mosque
insufficient.

Solution

Based on the questionnaire that our group shared, there are some solutions for the
Luqmanul Haqim mosque problem. The addition of sarong in male area is really needed. It
is expected to provide enough water for the pilgrims or made the well just for the Luqmanul
Hakim mosque. The management of Luqmanul Hakim mosque should repair or buy the
new speaker. In female area should add the prayer mat and clean the prayer mat and vile
every week. In breezeway male area, the carpet have cleaned or replace and the roof should
repair. Still in breezeway, search the source of ant in the male breezeway and throw away
it. At the female and male toilet, need addition of scoop, soap, and fragrance. Give the
counseling to the users of Luqmanul Hakim mosque to keep clean for all part of Luqmanul
Hakim mosque area and increase the discipline. In female area should add some mirrors
and veil. In every corner area should add mosquito repellent. Beautify the library in
Luqmanul Hakim mosque. In the main area should add or replace the lamp. Addition of
wifi in Luqmanul Hakim mosque will make the users happier.

Conclution
Based on our observations, we recommend the Luqmanul Hakim mosque as a place of
worship for Muslims, especially for Polban residents, where the Lukmanul Hakim mosque
is a campus facility that is provided for residents of Polban. although there are still many
things that must be addressed so that the luqmanul hakim mosque becomes a comfortable
place of worship.
