METHODOLOGY

Research Design
This study utilized a descriptive research design with regards to its purpose. According to

McCombes (2019), a descriptive study aims to accurately and systematically describe a

population, situation or phenomenon. In addition, McCombes (2019) stated that a descriptive

research design can use a wide variety of qualitative methods to investigate one or more

variables. Since the study focuses in determining the impact of sustainable and affordable energy

in the global economy, a descriptive design was appropriate.

Research Participants
This study will be participated by a maximum of 100 respondents specifically to those

who had benefited or that uses sustainable energy in their own household. Thus, this research

will be conducted virtually. Respondents in this study are people selected by the researchers or

people who voluntarily wish to participate, that can best inform the research questions and

enhance understanding of the phenomenon under study.
