A Brief History of John Baldassari

In these video talks all about John Baldassari life story on how he became a popular artist
at 19th century. John Anthony Baldassari born in date of 17 June 1931, at National City,
California, United States and died on 2 January 2020, at Venice, Los Angeles, California, United
States. He was an American Conceptual artist known for his pioneering use of appropriated
imagery. By blending photography, painting, and text, Baldassari's work examines the plastic
nature of artistic media while offering commentary on our contemporary culture.

Second, in 1970, Baldassari burned many of his early paintings as part of a work
titled Cremation Project, but he saved works such as these, done after 1966, in which he offered
satirical checklists of what to include in a painting if it is to sell and became interested in
contemporary arts. He was known as the father of conceptual art and shaped the conceptual art
totally as we know. He first began by creating text works, which were simply words painted onto
canvas. Because of John Baldassari many artist became more interested in art, increase their
passion and upgrade their skills in art in modern period
