PROPOSED ERECTION OF A 3-STOREY ENVELOPE CONTROL

INTERMEDIATE TERRACE DWELLING HOUSE WITH AN ATTIC ON LOT
98253T MK 25 AT 56 LORONG 36 GEYLANG SINGAPORE 398175

I refer to your e-Submission ES20200117-86295.

2. We have no objection to the proposal, with the condition that the project
timeline of 56 and 54 Lorong 36 Geylang coincides. If the timeline of the construction
of the frontage (footpath, box drain, green verge, etc.) for 54 and 56 Lorong 36 Geylang
(MK25-98254A) does not coincide, a DC resubmission to LTA is required, such that
there would be no discontinuity of footpath.

3. The proposal falls within the current lodgement criteria. Please advise the PE to
lodge the street plan submission with LTA.

4. If there are proposed utility service connection to the proposed development,

please advise PE to submit the Utility Service Plan as part of the Street Plan Lodgement.

5. (a) For developments with Engineering Works within Road Structure Safety
Zone & Engineering Activity on land adjoining Public Street, please note the following:

(i) Engineering works within road structure safety zone shall be

submitted to DBC (RRSP) for approval in accordance with
Section 8A of the Street Works Act. (Only use this clause only if
development is within Road Structure Safety Zone);

(ii) Notification of the intention to carry out engineering activity on

land adjoining public streets shall be submitted to DBC (RRSP)
no later than 10 working days prior to the commencement of
works.

(b) Please use the LTA_DBC_ENGG_WORKS_ACTIVITY_SWA.XFD

E-form for the submission/notification.
(c) The submission/notification and the carrying out of engineering works
and engineering activity shall comply with the requirements in the "Guide to Carrying
Out Engineering Works within Road Structure Safety Zone and Engineering Activity
on Land Adjoining Public Streets".

6. If there are any proposed work activities within the public street including
occupation of carriageway and walkway, the contractor is required to apply for a Works
on Public Streets Permit from the LTA – PROMPT portal before commencement of
works on site.

7. Our reply is limited to specific technical considerations under LTA’s purview

only and it is based on information available at the time of enquiry. The reply is given
without prejudice to any changes which may take place subsequently. The proposed
layout of the development is still subjected to clearance from the Competent Authority.
