- Yes, the Glossopteris fossils tell us all landmasses were once joined together.

Q2. If Glossopteris fossils were found in Antarctica, what was the climate of this continent
before?
- Glossopteris fossils were found in Antarctica wherein these fossils suggest that the
continent had a tropical climate or a temperate climate because Antarctica was not in its
current position long time ago.

Q3. Is the presence of animal fossils tells that South America, Africa, and Antarctica were
once connected?
- Yes, the presence of animal fossils tells that South America, Africa, and Antarctica were
once connected.

Q4. What clues are useful in reconstructing Pangaea?

- The fossils found or fossil evidence and the edges of each continents that fits each
other were useful in reconstructing Pangaea. More clues that are useful in reconstructing
Pangaea are the shapes of the continents, geological fit evidence, distribution of landforms,
glaciers, matching of rocks and sand, and coal deposits.

Q5. Which continents were obviously neighbors before?

- The continents that were obviously neighbors before are:

 South America and Africa

 South America and Antarctica
 Antarctica and Africa
 Antarctica and India
 Antarctica and Australia
 Africa and India
 India and Australia
- Simply South America, Africa, India, Antarctica, and Australia are the continents which
are neighbors before.

Q6. Where do you think was the location of the Philippines in Pangaea during the time when
it existed?
- The Philippines did not exist in the Pangaea during the time that Pangaea existed
because the Philippines was just formed because of the converging of plates that results to
volcanic arcs.

Q7. If the continents will continue to move, try to predict the Philippines’ location 25 million
years from now.
- If the continents will continue to move, I can predict that 25 million years from now
Philippines might be moving eastward and might be located somewhere in the east.
