INTRODUCTION

Calculation of dyeing recipe is done by the dyeing master. The whole work processes are done
in lap dip. Lab dip is a process by which buyers supplied swatch is matched with the varying
dyes percentage in the laboratory. Lab dip plays an important role in shade matching & and
detaching the characteristics of the dyes and chemicals are to be used in the large scale of
production. So this is an important task before bulk production.

OBJECTIVE

m

WORKING PROCEDURE
is

4.
Th

✓ A metal container was used to remove dyes & impurities.

✓ 3200ml water transferred to the container.
sh

✓ Added 400ml Dye in it.

✓ Also added 120ml soda ash, 200ml sodium hydroxide & 80ml wetting agent with it.
✓ Then stirred the solution for some time.
✓ After that, a cotton fabric added to the container n put the lid on it.

✓ Then the container was kept in to a heat oven machine.

✓ The temperature was set in to 100o Celsius and time was set to 60 minutes.
✓ After the set time as over the container was removed from the oven.
✓ The fabric was removed and rinsed with cold water.
✓ Lastly, the fabric was dried.

RESULT & DISCUSION

5.
We will be able to know of all chemicals and the perfect calculation of wet processing. How the
chemical reacts when it mixed up with materials and how they work we can figure them out.

CONCLUSION

7.
Dyeing recipe calculation is not a tough task that we have normally seemed. The person who is
engaged in textile dyeing industry has to know the dyeing recipe calculation method to dye the
fabric perfectly. Wet textile manufacturing requires several phases leading to finished goods,
each passing through a variety of complicated conditions that rely on well-trained personnel

instead of modern machines and technologies. Developments, though, are taking place at a fast
rate that will satisfy consumers with higher content and relatively lower costs. The secret to
progress in textile wet processing technologies would be the systemic indicator of a well
qualified workforce at advantageous salaries.
