MY FACILITATE LEARNING SESSION

1. Enumerate the activities you did before the arrival of your


students?
- Prepared training facilities/resources based on session requirement
- Prepared and set-up learning stations and tools according to learning
objectives
- Prepared pre-assessment instruments in accordance with number of
learners

2. Enumerate the events that happened in this particular session.


Make your list as a series of teacher and student activities. Do not
elaborate on the content of the lesson. Base on these events was
your lesson teacher centered or student centered? Provide a reason
for your answer.
- Trainees information sheet
- Perform job sheets/task sheets/ operation sheet
- Evaluate output using performance criteria checklist
- Do performance task
- Provide immediate feedback
It is student centered because of these activities.
3. Evaluate your choice of learning material. State whether you like to
change it or not to change it the next time you facilitate the same
lesson. Provide a reason for your action
- Using CBLM as learning material is effective because it provides all
the necessary knowledge and skill the learner needs to acquire

4. Describe the type of question you asked in this particular session.


Why was it necessary to ask these questions?
The type of question are:
- Task skills – questions on demonstrations skills
- Task management skills – questions on demonstrations skills
- Job role and environment management skills – question on
responsibility of trainee towards customer, employer, co-employee,
employer and environment
- Contingency management skills – questions on infrequent events may
arise from the job that would need the trainee to adjust
- OHS practices – questions on safety practices for the competency
being assessed
- Laws, rules and regulations
To further evaluate the skills of the trainee.
5. How did you ensure the participation from your students?
- By having them perform the task sheet and job sheet and have their
performance evaluated by themselves

6. What document do you use to help you manage the class activities?
Describe the use of this document. Would you recommend other
types of document that can be used to manage the class?
- The document used to manage class activities is the TRAINING
ACTIVITY MATRIX. It is used to schedule and monitor facilities,
resources and trainees activities.

7. Describe an adult learning principle you always have in mind when


you are facilitating a session?
- The more realistic the learning situation, the more effective the
learning

8. What assessment tools did you use in this particular session? Is


there a need to make improvement on the tools? Why or why not?
- The assessment tools used in this particular session are written test,
performance test, and oral questioning. There is no need make
improvements because these aspects are sufficient to cover the
knowledge, skills, comprehension and attitude of the trainees.

9. How did you provide the feedback to your students? Is there a need
to make improvement on your method? Why or why not?
- The feedback to the students is provided with optimism using the
bases from evaluation sheets, interviews with trainees, supervisor’s
observation and evaluation workshops.

- Trainees satisfaction on the training session
