Abstract

This research aims to: a) Determine the relationship between the use of smartphones and the
cognitive learning achievement of high-grade students of SDN 01 Nglegok in studying during
the COVID-19 pandemic, b) Determine the relationship between the use of smartphones and the
Psychomotor learning achievement of high-grade students of SDN 01 Nglegok in studying
during the COVID-19 pandemic

This research is a quantitative research with correlational as the research method. The research
subjects were high-grade students of SDN 01 Nglegok who had a smartphone. The number of
samples in this study were 38 students. For the data collection technique, I am as the researcher
used questionnaires and documentation . Before the data being analyzed, the analysis
prerequisite test was carried out which included the normality test and the linearity test. The data
analysis technique used in this research is the product moment correlation analysis.

The results shows that: a) There is no relationship between the use of smartphones and the
cognitive learning achievement of high-grade students of SDN 01 Nglegok in learning during the
COVID-19 pandemic because Tcount <Ttable (0.013 <0.32), b) There is no relationship between
smartphone use and high grade students' psychomotor learning achievement at SDN 01 Nglegok
in learning during the COVID-19 pandemic because Tcount <Ttable (0.10 <0.32).
