Comments for the Author:

Reviewer #1: The authors present a method to grouping province in Indonesia using COVID-
19 data.
They use K-means cluster to grouping.

Introduction: The introduction was well written, but if a little longer than strictly necessary,
and provided excellent motivation for the work at hand.
In general, the introduction needs to be added to the previous article that discusses k-means
and its results, which can answer how the k-means method can be an option?

Method: The author describes in detail the flow of the research method and data analysis
carried out.

Result and Discussion:

In Figure 1, Jakarta becomes the epicenter, the author does not explain why this happened?
The author needs to explain whether with the occurrence of this epicentrum, clusters can be
done?
The discussion of limitations is poor. They should be expanded, better explaining the
limitations and scope of the methodologies used and the results obtained.

Conclusion: Since the conclusion focuses on the possible factors associated with the results
obtained, it seems important to me to develop these topics further in the Discussion section.

Reviewer #2: Very well written and clear paper. I have very few comments.
- The introduction is detailed and well referenced but need previous study in reference about
the K-means.
- The structure of the paper needs improvement. For instance, I think the background section
should come before the literature review section. Moreover, the result and discussion section
should deliberate on the findings/results.
- The conclusion still needs improvement. The conclusion is not linked with the aim that was
answered. The conclusion slightly mentioned future direction but still needs more elaboration.
