NEED ASSESMENT REPORT

I. Introduction and Background

The goal of this assessment report is to identify the various problems and
issues that experts in the field of mathematics face. Because we cannot
accommodate a face-to-face interview due mainly to the current scenario –
the pandemic – this assessment analyzes a person using a series of
questions via Messenger or other applications. The responses are used to
create a score, categorization, or other form of outcome that is valuable to
both the respondent and us the interviewers may or may not be utilized as
references for future projects.

II. Methods

The method use are ethical consideration, in-app conversation, and

observation. Since all of our interviewee are professionals, we have to wait for
their vacant time or when they will be free. Then, we presented the request
letter and consent form to our prospect interviewees and we have them
signed the consent form before we formally proceed to our next step - the
interview and collection of data.

A. Data Collection

The data was gathered through an online interview where a series of

questions was ask. Each interviewee from different fields of mathematics,
answered the given questions base on their experience. Then, multiple
screenshots and proof of interview was taken, it will be used as reference
for future similar projects.
B. Strengths and Limitation

The interview went smoothly and all given questions was answered during
its duration. Though, some findings were not on good point however all
the important and necessary data was collected. The data collected are
enough for us to move forward in making this assessment report.

C. Key Participants

The key participants of this assessment are the teachers and

professionals who participated in this interview. The students are the
primary learners who analyze and interpret the data collected from the
participants according to their designated field of expertise.

III. Key Findings

Teacher’s resiliency was tested since some of their work place or school was
having inadequate resources and funds are both sadly lacking at present.

 Lack of teaching resources

 Funds are limited
 Students are becoming weary answering their modules
 Terrible internet connection

IV. Recommendation
Based on the interview result, it is recommended to have:
1. Enough resources should be provided by school to make teachers
perform their task accordingly.
2. Government must allocate enough funding’s in every school.
3. Modules should be clearer for the better comprehension of every
students.
