Material Description EQUIPMENTS & SPARES:EQUIPMENT-PORTABLE PARTICLE COUNTER FOR
OIL:SPEC/SPA MP ASSY LASER-BASED PARTICLE COUNTER Laser Particle counter for testing oil cleanliness: The instrument should be microprocessor-controlled, light-weight, portable, advanced laser-based particle counter to count and size particles in oil [as per ISO 4406:1999, NAS 1638 and SAE AS 4059D cleanliness standard] along with all necessary accessories for both on-line and offline operation. Instrument should be water-proof and corrosion- resistant. (i) The instrument should be capable of particle sizing and counting without dilution of oil sample. (ii) Microprocessor-controlled multiple automated sampling, analysis, reporting and data storage-upto 200 measurement data & automatic storage upto 200 measurement data & automatic storage of analysis set up. (iii) Sampling system- Automated sampling (preferably assisted by inbuilt pump with controlled constant flow). (iv) Sample requirement- 5 ml to 100 ml (max). The analyzer should not require flushing after each sample run. There should be provision of reuse of oil samples after run through the instrument. (v) Viscosity range- upto 150 cst or better. (vi) Fluid Temperature Range: 0 to 70 deg C (vii) Count correction: Air bubble removal arrangement & counting correction facility due to moisture particles & air bubbles. (viii) Operation/measurement/display- operation using touch screen, with LCD graphic display. Display should show particle numbers, cleanliness classes, size etc. Analyzer should create reports in PDF or Excel format for easy interpretation and records. Further there should be standard USB port available for data download. A compatible software should be provided so that it can be be uploaded LAPTOP/DESKTOP for smooth running of programme and data transfer (ix) Integral printer- Inbuilt printer for instant printout or better (x) Power source- Dual source of power for Lab as well as field Use:220-250 V AC, 50Hz Rechargeable internal battery (for 2 hour field operation) Additional battery for memory back up as per requirement. (xi) Fluid compatibility - For Standard Mineral Oils, Fire resistant fluids (FRF)/control fluids etc. (xii) Online application: Instrument shall be capable to measure NAS value for real-time analysis, required accessories shall be part of the instrument. (xiii)Off line application: Instrument shall be capable to analyse the samples off line shall include all accessories for offline analysis. (xiv) Memory- at least upto 200 measurement data storage and upto 10 automatic analysis set up, data transfer facility should be present. (xv) Calibration – Instrument shall be factory calibrated & traceable to NIST. Calibration certificates, in original, have to be supplied by the Bidder. Facility for recalibration/calibration check option as & when required should be present in system. Calibration standard traceable to NIST shall be supplied along with the instrument for two years. requirement. Subsequent calibration of the instrument at NTPC laboratory is to be ensured by supplier/authorized agent in coming year of its use. (xvi)The instrument should be complete with adapter cable for recharging and power cable, volatage stabilizer, suitable carry case, printer roll (at least 10 Nos) and all other accessories as per requirement (including sample preparation accessories viz. ultrasonic bath, degassing unit etc).
