PROLOQUE

Intramurals is an effective platform for sportsmanship and unity. It

covers different fields of sports that will exercise both cognitive and
psychomotor skills of an individual. Intramurals aims to gain friendship and
teamwork. It is an emphasis to the capacity of an individual to excel not just
academically but also to excel in sports and outdoor activities. This event was
made to exercise camaraderie and acceptance of defeat and victory. It is a great
privilege for everyone to showcase their talents and skills in all activities being
presented in the said event. Its main purpose is to build and to develop the
inner leader and effective member inside an individual. It is a manifestation
that everyone can do great both in different fields. Intramurals is not just for
teamwork and unity, it also builds bricks of fun and momentous experiences
that we would cherish in the near future. It will always be a good start of the
school year to embrace the essence of this event, for it gives us the opportunity
to prove ourselves that there are times and instances in our life that we can be
much greater than ourselves before.

Intramurals does not stop within the borders of sports and outdoor
activities, it continues and constantly dwells in our daily lives. We are in an
arena of sports were life is the main event, life is the Intramurals itself, in order
to excel and develop, one should have the essence of unity, acceptance,
teamwork and fun. Intramurals is indeed a world for improvement and
development. It also promotes camaraderie and rapport among students,
instructors, parents, and administration. In other words, Intramurals builds
strong bond within the community. Intramurals are also a fun way to instill
and inculcate discipline among the students. Engaging in sports will help

students refrain from various forms of vices such as smoking, drinking and
even gambling. By engaging in sports and showcasing your talents, you’ll be
inspiring others to emulate your character, perseverance, winning ways and
awesome talents. Our intramurals also develop healthy competition among the
participants. And develop fair play among the athletes.

Cheating is null and void; same can be said with dirty tactics. The ability
to shine even under pressure, being in front of many people will help students
get rid of their nervousness. This is important since this will aid students in
the coming years, speaking in front, public speaking, giving speeches and also
during jobs interviews. Most of all, the intramurals help improve the student’s
personality and is essential to their wellbeing. Sports instill how to win, how to
accept defeat, how to interact with other people and how to develop desirable
character traits that is vital in achieving success in the future.
