TOURS POLICIES AND GUIDELINES
SCHEDULE
1. Palacio de Memoria (“the Palacio”) is open to the public from
Mondays to Saturdays at 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM only.
2. Tours outside this schedule are available under special events.
Venue rental rates and prior bookings apply.
TOUR TYPES
1. Guided tours are tours of individuals or groups availing a tour
guide or guides with regular admission.
2. Facilitated tours are tours of large groups of individuals availing a
facilitator to lead the group.
3. Ocular tours are pre-tour walkthroughs of coordinators.
4. VIP tours are guided tours of important individuals or groups that
require security assistance.
BOOKING
1. Prior booking of at least (2) days before tour date is required to
avail our Guided or Facilitated tour, subject further to the
availability of The Palacio’s facilitators or guides.
2. Guided and facilitated tour reservations are booked by
appointment via email.
3. Ocular tours have to be booked at least (1) day prior to the
scheduled tour.
4. Confirmation from The Palacio is required to be obtained on the
day of the tour.
5. Guided or facilitated tour reservations are granted on a first-come,
first-served basis.
ADMISSIONS
1. Regular admission gives access to the operational floors of The
Palacio, including exhibition rooms and grounds.
2. Senior Citizens and PWD must present their valid IDs to be
entitled to the discount.
3. PJL Group of Companies employees can avail of the discounted
admission rate upon presentation of their valid employee ID.
4. In case of admission for Media Coverage, Media must contact the
marketing team for access; otherwise, applicable fees are applied.
5. Complimentary admissions apply to local cultural workers and
official institutional partners.
DOWNPAYMENT
1. A 30% down payment of the total billing should be settled at least
(1) week before the scheduled tour for large group tours of more
than (50) pax.
2. A 30% down payment of the total billing should be settled at least
(2) weeks before the scheduled tour for the following special tours:
For groups touring the Palacio (1) hour before/after regular hours.
PAYMENTS
1. Cash, check, or mobile transfer payments are accepted by The
Palacio. Except for large groups, payments can be settled on the day
of the tour.
2. Payments may also be directed to Galeria Renascimento
Commercial Enterprises Inc. (account no. 715-0-518608) at any
Metrobank branch. Deposit slip copies must be emailed at
hello@casadememoria.com.
3. Special billings can be arranged for organizations and partners.
4. Admissions are non-refundable.
CANCELLATION AND LATE ARRIVAL
1. For cancelled tours, notification must be done at least (2) days
before the scheduled tour in order to get the full cash refund. Failure
to notify the management of Palacio within the said period will
result in the forfeiture of any deposit made.
2. In the event a facilitated tour group arrives (30) minutes later than
scheduled, The Palacio reserves the right to prioritize other groups.
3. Reservation made less than (3) days before the tour date is
automatically non-refundable. Rescheduling of tour date may be
made, but shall be subject to the availability of slot.
PARKING
1. Parking for guests is available for free at the The Palacio grounds,
subject to availability.
2. The Palacio shall not be responsible for the vehicles and personal
belongings of its Visitors and/or their guests.
SECURITY AND EMERGENCIES
1. The Security team of The Palacio, in addition to its primary
function of securing the physical building facilities and collections,
shall strictly enforce and report any violation of The Palacio’s
Policies and Guidelines.
2. Firearms shall not be allowed inside The Palacio, unless a written
approval is secured from its management.
3. The Visitor agrees not to tamper with or relocate any of The
Palacio’s security and emergency equipment (e.g. fire
extinguishers).
PROHIBITED ITEMS
1. The use of fire or any kind of open flamed effects, candles,
fireworks, or any toxic or noxious material is strictly prohibited
inside The Palacio.
2. The Palacio reserves the right to evict individuals from the
premises or impose penalties in case of non-compliance with these
Policies & Guidelines.
3. For the mutual protection of the Visitor and The Palacio, The
Visitor and their guest must submit to the premises’ security
inspection.
4. Prohibited materials such as deadly weapons, incendiary or
prohibited drugs are to be confiscated without prejudice to legal
sanctions.
LOSS, DAMAGE AND INSURANCE IDEMNIFICATION
1. In case of damage to any property housed by The Palacio or loss
thereof due to the fault or negligence of any of its visitors, the visitor
shall be responsible in restoring it to its original condition, its
replacement or payment as the case may be.
2. The erring Visitor shall receive a billing statement 2-3 days after
the incident indicating the amount of loss or damage which shall be
payable within 7 days.
3. While The Palacio undertakes the general protection of the
building and its premises, the Visitor agrees to take full
responsibility of his/her own items.
4. The Palacio shall not be responsible or liable for the
compensation of any losses, damages, injuries, sickness, deaths,
theft or any other untoward incident that may be incurred by the
Visitor during the duration of the tour.
5. The Visitor agrees to take full responsibility for the actions and
behavior of its guests during the tour or while such guest is in The
Palacio grounds.
6. The Visitor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Palacio
from all liability arising from all activities undertaken by them and
their guests during the tour.
GUEST RULES AND CONDUCT
1. Touching of the artworks is strictly prohibited.
2. All photographers and videographers who intend to take official
documentation must seek the written consent of Palacio at least (5)
working days before their visit.
3. Food and Drinks are not allowed inside The Palacio.
4. Pets are not allowed.
