1. Differentiate physical self to physical image.

Answer:

Physical self is a significant component in one’s image and personality. Being


clean and hygienic creates a good image and allows one to feel good about
the self. On the other hand physical image is a reflection of our lifestyle and
the kind of lives we lead. It is important to remember that what we see may
not necessarily be accurate but perception matter much. Everyday interaction
with people results in their observation and formation of opinion about our
attitude, behavior,practices, mannerisms, etc.

2. Why is it important to take good care of our physical image?

Answer:

Physical image can alter over time and is significantly linked to self-esteem
and healthy lifestyle choices. When you feel good about your body, you're
more likely to have healthy food and physical exercise habits, as well as
positive self-esteem. A healthy body image is crucial because it influences
your self-esteem, self-acceptance, and attitude toward food choices. What
you say can have a negative impact on someone else body image and self-
esteem. Giving someone a praise may assist enhance their body image and
make you feel good. Your health may also influence how you see your looks.

3. Explain hair is crowning glory.

Answer:

Our hair is our crowning glory, not just because it is on top of our heads, but
also because it makes such a big difference in how we seem. The style and
condition of one's hair reflect one's personality and style. As a result, taking
care of our hair is just as vital as taking care of our skin.

4. Why we need to be reminded about the practices of social graces?

Answer:

Teaching social graces to youngsters is crucial since it eventually makes


them feel better about their behavior. They can boost their confidence and
feel more confident in their activities by employing social graces. As a result,
adults are more at ease with their children's acts and emotions. Manners
make others feel valued and respected. They are rewarded with respect.
Manners are a reflection of what and how you were taught and nurtured. They
make you feel good about yourself, which is essential for having a positive
self-image.

5. Explain the importance of proper bearing, posture, and nutrition.

Answer:

Sitting and standing with perfect alignment promotes blood flow, supports
your muscles, ligaments, and tendons, and helps maintain your nerves and
blood vessels healthy. People who make good posture a habit are less likely
to suffer from back and neck problems. Nutrition is an essential component of
both health and development. Better nutrition is linked to better baby, child,
and maternal health, stronger immune systems, safer pregnancy and
delivery, a decreased risk of noncommunicable illnesses such as diabetes
and cardiovascular disease, and longer life. Children who are physically fit
perform better in school.
