Course Title : Introduction to Agriculture

Course Description

Introduction to Agriculture is a foundation course that provide students with the opportunity to explore various aspects of the agricultural industry with
emphasis on Philippine agriculture.

Course Objectives:

1. Broaden students’ perspective on agriculture and its vital role in advancing farmer’s progress and national development in capitalist and non-
capitalists societies.

2. Develop students’ sense of awareness about rural poverty and their commitment to agricultural development geared towards the economic
and social uplift of the rural poor.

Number of Hours: 1 hour lecture every week for 18 weeks or 18 hours in a semester
