LOWELL Philippians 3:14 was the basis of MBC’S
2018 Ministry theme: Pressing On.
God’s abounding grace and great
faithfulness to Manila Baptist Church has
been evident through the years. Reaching
50 years of ministry was definitely a
milestone and worth celebrating! Yet,
then-senior pastor Rev. Arleen Fidel
reminded the church that despite the
significant work it had undertaken, it was
not time to sit back and relax because
there was still a lot to be done. Pastor
Fidel admonished the church has to
continue, to press on and strive to
accomplish more for the furtherance of
God’s kingdom.
2018-B The golden anniversary of MBC was a
year-long celebration. Every month
DAPHN featured a special event that was in line
with theme: Pressing On. The first quarter
of the year included the annual love
banquet, which was held at the Pearl
hotel; a Kid’s Musical Night with
performances of pupils from the MBC

2018-C One of the highlights of the year was
LOWELL inviting former MBC pastors to speak.
This was done every 3rd Sunday of the

special love gift was given to each one as
they came to deliver God’s message to
the church on their respective schedules.

2018-K In God’s perfect time, the MBC Utmost Event: Director’s Cut of MBC-UF’s Faith to

accomplished by having fun time together
as a family in a relaxed atmosphere.
The Family Focus 2019 was held in San
Jose Del Monte, Bulacan, with about 130
attendees - a big leap forward from the
attendance of six families present during
the first Family Focus held at the National
Arts Center in Mount Makiling, Laguna.
