6. Course Requirements / Assessment Activities

The assessment that will be used is summative. Summative assessment will all be graded. It will
be in two (2) forms: first are the activities, typically test procedures at the end of each topic which will
be graded, and second are the Midterm and Final Examinations (See Course Schedule).
Rubrics will be used for the evaluation of your outputs whenever applicable.

7. Grading System
As indicated in the course syllabus, your course performance will be evaluated based on the
following criteria:
Midterm/Tentative Final Grade: Final Grade Calculation:
Assigned Tasks 35% FG = 1/3 (Midterm) + 2/3 (Tent. Final)
Major Examinations 65%

8. Learning Resources
To aid your learning, resources will be provided along the duration of the course it may be
available on the course site. However, for those with poor internet connection may schedule time to
connect to university Wi-Fi and download all term materials. The learning resources are:
1. Instructional Materials
Instructional materials will be provided and is uploaded in the course site for each topic.
You are required to read all the instructional materials. You will also find an activity at the end
of each topic which you need to accomplish and submit on the indicated date.

2. Video Lectures/Resources
Video lectures/resources are additional resources to help you better understand the
topic. You are not required to watch the videos; however, it will be a great resource should you
