Way back before, when I'm still a child, I'm fascinated with how and why does the
pediatrician often checks my vitals. The way they get my vitals was weird for me
at that time, and it usually scares me, but as I grew up and learned about the
importance of vital signs and as I remember from this module, I realized that It is
essential.
It is the first to tell if the patient's body reacts to something, whether from recovery
from fever or getting allergies from a portion of food.
Vital signs help as it is the first thing to change when something is happening to a
patient's body, it helps us understand what the patient currently feels, and it also
tells us when the body is healing itself.
Without knowing the vital signs, we humans will never be able to survive for that
long. We thrive in understanding something, whether it is off or different, and
knowing what a person's vital signs are from the ordinary is one way to help us
recognize and help a person correctly.
