I- Brief description of the project:

The fundamental idea is the decoration of cafes, hotels, restaurants as well as home interior decor
by the recycling of empty glass bottles, jars, broken crockery with organic candles inside it. The
candles are made up of scented waxes and they did not melt for a long time. We are also using
tins and cans in the decoration of birthdays, and home interior. We will make calligraphy,
paintings on glass. It has huge market demand. The market needs of this glass bottles is that we
are solving the interior decor need for our customers like new startup cafes, restaurants who need
it. The opportunity sites of our product are targeting the interest of youngster who want to get
themselves more refreshing by getting attraction in cafes etc. Our competitors are other different
decor planners they use different products in their services. We are using glass paintings instead
of canvas paintings in our decor which makes it different from others. Our target market is cafes,
restaurants and events planners who want decoration which would be unique and more attractive
than others. Our marketing strategy is social media which is a cheap source of advertisement.
The estimate finance required for this project is Rs 15,000 approximately.
II- Marketing plan:
A marketing plan is the advertising strategy that a business will implement to sell its product or
service. The marketing plan will help determine who the target market is, how best to reach
them, at what price point the product or service should be sold, and how the company will
measure its efforts.
Product:

 Turning glass jars into vases:
Used glass jars and bottles of different shapes and sizes make for super cute planters.
Bunch some dried bouquet fillers for a simple rustic look or go for fresh flowers for an
uplifting look. We could also put plants in these glass containers. Some of the types of
plants we can grow in glass jars or bottles include common ivy, spider plant, purple
heart, coleus, sweet potato vine and so on. Decorating the bottles with ropes, vines, paint
or whatever fancy. We could also build your own terrarium in these glass containers.
Glass bottles and jars get accumulated every month at home, and then comes the effort
of disposing them all. But now we need not worry. We have great ideas that will help us
reuse our old bottles and jars, and trust us, we will never want to throw them away.
 2. Turn Them into Chic Decor Pieces
For instance, using spray paints, neatly coat the bottles in a metallic shade. No one will
be able to tell that these were once our discarded wine bottles. We can also create
patterns on our bottles using cut-outs or stencils. Ensuring that we’re using gloves and
masks, and paint the bottle in an open area to avoid staining accidents.
 3. Fill the Bottles with Fairy Lights
A funky way to use old wine or juice bottles is to fill or wrap them with LED string
lights. This is a great festive or party decor idea as well. To go a step further, we will
carefully hang a bunch of them around your house.
 4. By using tin, we can make a spoon stand which will be placed on restaurant tables
and look attractive. It is portable and easy to get the desire spoon when required. Also
glass jars can be used as a chandelier along with scented organic candles which will
grasps the attention of new start up business and pollution free environment.
Services:
We will provide glass decor services to our new start up cafes and homes by making different
products from glass bottles, jars on customers demand. We don’t give warranty of glass because
it is sensitive and needs much care. We give warranty of customize products which will be
accurate according to customer demand. Also, we will not charge delivery fees on very first
order.
Customers:
Basically, we are targeting newly opened restaurant and cafes. Our product is attractive because
these new startup cafes need decoration in less price to make themselves unique from other cafes
of their level. Middle class families can also choose these products for their home decor in low
price.
Distribution channel:
We will supply our products like lamps, chandeliers, spoon stand, wall hangings to the gift shops
and interior décor shops. We can also sell directly through outlet. People can see or touch the
spoon stand, chandeliers, lamps etc. for their satisfaction before buying on our outlet and gift
shops.
Proposed Location:
We will start our business mainly online on Instagram and Facebook pages by sitting in our
homes. With the passage of time we will also provide services on physical store in the market.
Our outlet provides facility to customers so that they can easily buy products according to their
taste.
Pricing:
Price varies from product to product. If any cafe or restaurant requires our services then the price
will be according to the usage of products and our services. The price of our service will be low
in contrast to competitors because we will use glass bottles instead of proper glass for decoration
purpose. The reduced price of our service is mainly due to the use of glass bottles because they
are less costly.
Promotion and advertising:
Our marketing strategy will be like that we will advertise online through social media platforms
and we will also promote our business at universities interior decor departments through
pamphlet’s, banner and brochures so that they can easily locate our outlet and know about us.
The youngsters basically try to approach us because they will be going to start their own setups
specially males.
III- Operational plan definition
An operational plan is a practical document which outlines the key activities and targets an
organization will undertake during a period of time, usually one year. It is often linked to funding
agreements as well as being linked overall to the organization’s strategic plan.
Production:
The production includes the glass bottles, jars along with homemade organic candles. The
products used for making organic candles are essential oil, bees wax, Levander oil, wicks etc.
These candles are long lasting and makes the environment pollution free. The raw material
required for making lamps, wall hangings, chandeliers, vases, spoon stand includes ropes, silky
and woolen threads, paints, poster colors, glue, card board, hard boards, tins, glass etc. These
products will be manufactured in our outlet or at home firstly. Production flow includes the input
which is the raw material and then processing on the input such as use of paints, tins, ropes,
threads for making output which is lamps, wall hangings, spoon stand etc. We will also make
customize products according to customer demand. We don’t provide guarantee on product but
we guarantee the quality idea.
Location:
We have an outlet of our relative in main market where our competitors are available and we can
easily sell our products. We will use banners, pamphlets and brochures for attracting the new
startup cafes and restaurant so that they can easily get our services. We collaborate with them
and will pay the rent after the business will progress. The parking facility will be provided by the
main market.
Inventory and suppliers:
The inventory includes the glass bottles, jam jars, broken cups and glasses, tins, cans, paints,
brushes, ropes, silk thread, glue, card board and hard boards. The main suppliers of spaces and
places is the junkman where we will get our main raw material i.e. glass bottles, jam jars and tin.
Other suppliers will be the whole sellers of stationary and paints seller.
Credit policy:
We don’t have any fully credit policy at first. If any cafe, restaurant and home want our services
then we will start working with 40% advance amount and 60% amount will be paid by the
customers up to the completion of task.
Managing account payable:

We will manage our payables by receiving the particular amount of raw material from the
customers and we will pay at a time the amount of raw material to the suppliers and we will
receive our service fee with the passage of time. In this way we will manage our account
payables. We will clear our payables time to time.
